All I have ever wanted to do since I took a babysitting class when I was 11 years old, is to work with children. So that's what I've done, and I love every minute of it! For three years I nannyed for a family with 2 children. A 5 monh old baby with downsyndrome and hershbrungs disease, and his 2 year old brother. This job involved caring for collastomy care wounds, teaching sign language, taking the older boy to preschool (and pick up) and providing a loving caring nurtering positive enviroment for these kids. I truely enjoy working with children.We have so much fun! I bring my box of arts and crafts supplies, from markers, to paint, to feathers and jewels! They are so bright and inquisitive at that age, like little sponges soaking up all the information they can.
