Biography

My name is Athena Kobin and I am a graduate student studying Art Therapy. I graduated from University of Rhode Island with a bachelor in Art.  I am energetic, kind, and resposible. I love working with children and have been a babysitting since the age of 14. I have experience with all ages of child both as a babysitter/nanny and in day care centers. I love being outdoors, going to the beach, hiking, and swimming. I also love to do arts and crafts, be creative, and use my imagination.

I have worked at a day center as a floater with infants all the way through to the kindergarten classes. I working in a gym nursery where I was with children ages ranging from infants to 12 years old. Last summer I was with a family with 8 year old twins. I also was with a family for 3 years first with there 1 year old who I took care of till age 3 and then their infant who was born last summer. My most current job I was with a 9 month old and a 3 year old. I am comfortable being with multiple children.
Skills & Certifications

I am very good with children of all ages, even children with behavioral problems. I am also comfortable doing housework, taking care of pets, and whatever else needs to be done to help the family I am working for. I also work well with others or by myself.
