Biography

My name is Amanda Harvey, I am 17 years old and I adore working with kids of any age. I will graduate high school in May and I plan to go to Utah State University in the fall on scholarship. I want to be a Special Education Teacher so any type of experience with any kids would be helpful to my education. But I sincerely want to help anyone out that needs it this summer. I may not be the most creative or artistic person, but I am willing to get dirty and make anything no matter what it might look like. I am very organized as well. I hope I can help!

I started babysitting when I turned about 11 or 12. Since then I have continued to babysit numerous kids for several families. I have a nephew that I watched over this past summer while his parents were at work during the day. I cleaned, cooked, baked, and played with my nephew. For one specific family, they had few rules and 5 crazy kids. They were so much fun to play with and I learned a lot about keeping things in order in a crazy atmosphere. I am used to watching a lot of kids at once.

I know how to cook and bake. I have a food handler's permit. I am used to be a gymnast and now I run, so I can play with kids without getting exhausted after one thing.
