Biography
I am 55 years old and semi retired. I have three grown children ages 26-19 and we are experencing a empy nest for the first time. I was raised in Detroit but now live a rural area of Sanilac County. After volunteering for many agencies that provided services for women and children, I discovered my love for early childhood. I went back to college in my early 40's and had a great career in this field. I am now looking to continue my love, education and expereince on a more one to one capacity.

I have 20 years expereince in the Early Childhood field. My positons were in diverse settings. I have worked as a trainer for Childcare Providers. Taught Head Start and Kindergarten Cathecism. I worked for the Sanilac County ISD in the Early On program which completes developmental assessments for children age 0-3 and then provides resources, parent training and support for families that have children with developmental concerns. While at the ISD I also acted as playgroup moderator for Great Start of Sanilac County. Most recently I was lead teacher in an infant and toddler room at a childcare center.

Proficent in several developmental assessment tools.
