Biography

I have been caring for children for most of my life, and providing a loving, nurturing environment for children is a life passion for me. I have the most experience with newborns, but I am comfortable working with all ages. I am currently in my last semester of college and will be looking for full time employment after graduation at the end of May. I am studying social work with a minor in education, early childhood focused. I love to read with kids, do arts and crafts, play outdoors, and prefer to use positive reinforcement and redirection for discipline.

I have three years experience in licensed 5-star child care facilities (2 at Mountain Area Child and Family Center in Swannanoa and 1 year at Creative Village Chilcare where I work with infants-preschool). I also have a little over five years of babysitting experience.
