Nannies, Inc. was formed in 1989 to match professional, local and experienced nannies with families who would like the option of keeping the nanny for years. This is in contrast to the young and inexperienced women who are imported from rural America or Europe, and are contracted to stay for only one year and are a high turnover risk. Nannies, Inc. can help you find and hire a nanny for permanent or temporary child care. We take pride in helping families find the best nanny "fit" possible. We interview our nannies with an eye toward certain personality traits that are conducive to raising children and interacting well with others. We also use a screening system that has been developed since 1989.
